
Researcher biography
Dr. Feng Li received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Anna Klinkova, where he worked on multiscale modelling of structural transformation in nanocatalyst for CO2 electrolysis.
He then joined the University of Toronto, where he worked with Prof. David Sinton and Prof. Edward Sargent (2022-2026) on the design of electrocatalyst, membrane, and electrolyser for CO2 electrolysis and capture.
To date, he has published 42 peer-reviewed articles, including 20 as first/Co-first/Corresponding author, in top tier journals such as1 in Nature Energy, 2 in Nature Catalysis, 1 in Nature Sustainability, 3 in Nature Synthesis, 2 in Nature Communication, 1 in Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1 in Energy & Environmental Science, 1 in Joule, and 1 in Angewandte Chemie.
