Mr Jason Yichun Ma

Mr. Yichun Ma joined the Centre in September 2025. He holds a Master’s degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (2012) and a Bachelor’s degree from East China University of Science and Technology (2010). His research focuses on advancing the high-value use of recycled polymers and promoting the circular economy through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology.

In addition to his role at the Centre, Mr. Ma is Senior Regional Manager of Sustainability at Kmart Australia. He brings extensive cross-industry expertise in sustainability, supporting product innovation and supply chain management. Previously, he worked as a Technical Manager at a leading global consulting firm, collaborating with EU retailers on sustainability platform development and the implementation of sustainable concepts.
